SPINDRIFT 2008 RELEASE PARTIES
Monday, June 2nd and Sunday, June 8th
The staff of Shoreline Community College's Art and Literary Journal, Spindrift, is proud to announce the release of the new 2008 issue. We will be holding our on-campus release party on Monday, June 2nd from 12:30-2:30 in the "quiet dining room" of the new PUB.  Contributors: Pick up your free copy at the door.

We will be holding our off-campus release party at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park on Sunday June 8th from 5:30-7pm in the Den. The new 2008 issue will be available as well as issues from previous years. There will also be literature readings, refreshments and an open mic.

Published annually since 1966, Spindrift is the award-winning, nationally recognized art and literary journal of Shoreline Community College in Shoreline, WA.

SPINDRIFT 2008 ART JURY SHOW
Where art is a participatory event.

Wednesday January 30, 2008 - 11am to 3pm in the Visual Arts Center (the 2000 Building, adjacent to the Parent-Child Center).
The Spindrift staff is proud to announce the 2008 Art Jury Show. Be part of the selection process join in the celebration of Spindrift, Shoreline Community College's award-winning art and literary journal. Enjoy refreshments and help select art for the upcoming edition. Check out this year's visual art entries and vote for your favorite works.

SPINDRIFT PLACES 1ST IN REGIONAL COMPETITION - Fall 2007
Spindrift, Shoreline Community College's award-winning art and literary magazine, placed first in the Pacific-Western region for Best College Literary Magazine in the annual Community College Humanities Association competition. This is the third consecutive year that Spindrift has placed in the competition. Recognition goes to the student staff - Cynthia Mullis, Hannah Olson, Jenica Sherman, Erika Rado, and Raven Gildea, as well as faculty advisors, Deborah Handrich and Christine Shafner.
   Spindrift, designed, edited and produced on campus as part of the school's Visual Communications Technology Program, offers a sampling of fiction, poetry, visual art, short stories and essays by community college students, faculty, staff and community members, including local and regional artists.
