campus, call the Security

College Security Officers will

General Education Provisions Act
(Buckley Amendment) and the
Campus Security Act. (Amended

Shoreline Community College
community, some reports are made
available free-of-charge, to the
complainant to assist him/her to
file an insurance claim.
Crime reports may be made at
any time of day, seven days, per
week, and 365 days per year.
Remember - prompt reporting
greatly improves campus safety
and security.
For your convenience and
protection, 7 safety phones have

needed. The yellow boxes are
located at these positions.

Effective July 1, 1993
amendments to the Campus
Security Act require that all
institutions of higher education
have in place campus sexual
assault programs established to
prevent sex offenses.
Institutions must also establish
and publish, in their annual
security report, procedures to
be followed when a sex offense
has occurred.
