General Transfer
Information
Completing a transfer program at Shoreline
Community College gives students a tremendous advantage as they step
toward a bachelor's degree. Some four-year schools, such as the
University of Washington, now only accept community college students
who have completed a two-year transfer degree. Shoreline Community
College offers students several opportunities to move into a
bachelor's degree program.
Students with a variety of goals may
begin their college careers in liberal arts right here on our campus.
The College offers the
Associate of Arts and Science (AAS)
and
Associate of Science
(AS) and
Associate of Fine
Arts (AFA) degrees which correspond to the first two years of study at a four-year
college or university.

Planning Sheets
There are many university transfer
programs which have a focus on a particular area of study. By
taking elective courses in your area of study, you can become better
prepared to transfer to your major at a four-year university. You
can review a
list of those programs that
currently have a curriculum concentration.
Academic
Divisions There are five academic divisions at SCC which oversee the
development of courses and degree programs. Check division
websites to review their programs and gather more information about
courses, faculty, and other useful information.
