PAINTINGS & DRAWINGS BY PAMELA MILLS
Nov 6, 2008 - Jan 6, 2009
Tree

ArtworkIn recent paintings and drawings, Pamela Mills confronts the sheer physical presence and metaphorical power of trees in the Northwest woods. Arcing branch patterns play off the majesty of towering trunks; twigs and branches in a burn pile reveal a complex beauty of accidental form. Meant as "an urgent offering for repair," these works engage us in an empathetic perception of our endangered natural world.
